Gulf Council Supports Yemen Development Plans

In his visit to Sana'a, the Secretary General of The Gulf Cooperation Council, Abdurrahman Hammed Atteah praised the great efforts performed by the Yemeni Government headed by the Prime Minister.

He also pointed to the development plans performed in Yemen regarding the procedures discussed in the Gulf Conference for donors. He focused on the steps to rehabilitate Yemen to join the Gulf Cooperation Council and to integrate the Yemeni economy with the economy of the Gulf countries.

"Yemen is considered one of the great portals to the Arab World which will help us in achieving our goals together," said Atteah. Considering the development process in Yemen, Atteah confirmed that he and representatives of the Gulf Cooperation Council will support the Yemeni development programs.
