Three people were killed and several others injured in clashes that erupted involving two groups in Khwalan's Al-A'arosh Tribe to which Sheikh Mohammed Bin Naji Al-Ghader belongs.

However, a tribal mediation led by Brig. Naji Al-Zaidi managed to stop the deadly war and the two warring sides announced a one-month truce.

In related news, ten people were killed and dozens injured in tribal war that broke out last week in Dhamar's Magreb Ans district.

Sources indicated that Al-Abaser and Al Al-Sairi tribes  clashed over stone quarry.

However, tribal mediation managed to reach a one-year truce between both sides. Revenge killings and tribal wars have shown increase since the beginning of 2008 and yet the government is unsuccessful in implementing President Saleh's electoral platform aiming to resolve the never-ending revenge and tribal conflicts nationwide.

Meanwhile, the National Democratic Institute is implementing a tribal conflict management program which aims to spread tolerance culture to face revenge killings and tribal wars.
