Three Egyptians Trialed over Killing Yemeni Soldier |

Three Egyptians are standing trials before the Egyptian judiciary over killing a Yemeni soldier and injuring another during a maritime accident that took place last April. The incident occurred on April 19, 2007 following an Egyptian launch that attacked a Yemeni coastguard boat which was patrolling the area in hunt for two Egyptian fishing boats and the attack resulted in killing a soldier and injuring another. According to official media, the Egyptian authorities cooperated with Yemen and helped arrest the perpetrators to stand trial and now the Egyptian prosecution is waiting for the case file to be sent from Yemen.
