Members of Parliament Abdu Al-Bari Dughaish and Abdu Al-Malik Al-Qasos called parliament to take a decisive stand of Sheikh Mohammed Ahmed Mansour who exercised utmost expulsion and suppression against his fellow citizens including Al-Anseen locals who have been kicked out and moved to the Capital for over a month while the concerned authorities took no measures to lift Mansour's wrongfulness on them.

In his statement to the Yemen Post, Sheikh Mansour stressed that the Al-Anseen locals have no lawful demands and stressed their acts are politically motivated.

Mansour pointed out that they can resort to judiciary or prosecution in case they were wronged, calling media to verify and to distract their attention away from the issue, hinting he could wage a media war on these people in the same way and he have writers to do so.

Declining to continue his telephone speech, Mansour assured that Al-Anseen locals belong to Islah Party.

Meanwhile, Ministry of Interior has formed a high-ranking committee comprising officials from the Ibb province's local authority to conduct an enquiry into the complaints and raise a report to the Presidency in accordance with President Saleh's directives.

Al-Anseen locals are to be transferred back to their villages over a ministry's bus upon which the committee will embark on their investigations of the incident.

The National Organizations for Defending Rights and Freedom, known as HOOD, called for performing Friday (Jum'ah) prayer in the camp meant for displaced Al-Anseen locals located before the Yemeni Women Journalists Forum in support of them.

HOOD called government, civil society organizations and dignitaries to attend the prayer there in support of Al-Anseen and Al-Jashin's lawful demands.

Executive Director of HOOD Lawyer Khalid Al-Anesi stated that security forces attacked the camp under the pretext that they have  orders to prevent performing the prayers.

They threatened the attendants and smashed the audio equipments and forced the owner of these equipments to leave the scene. They further demanded HOOD to cancel the activity.

"If you perform the prayer, we will take you by force and cut your tongue," said the security official to Al-Anesi.

At least three members of HOOD were threatened and were told that they would be dragged by their faces if they don’t go home.
