The presidential committee supervising Sa'ada ceasefire agreement and working to end the resurrection called Houthi followers to commit themselves to Doha agreement signed early February and involved Houthi leaders and official representatives.

Head of the presidential committee Mohammed Qarah commenting on news speaking of Houthi followers who attacked 22 schools in Haidan and sent away their teachers numbering 91 and 3200 students asked Houthi leaders to stop their followers from coming these acts which hinder the implementation of the agreement.

Local sources mentioned that the presidential committee met on Saturday with the Qatari side to discuss the implementation of Sa'ada ceasefire agreement especially the seventh article which dictates state sovereignty over all districts together with demanding Houthi followers to descend from mountains against repositioning of military unit demanded by the agreement to desert farms and houses.

Other sources revealed that the Qatari committee representative Col. Nasser Al-Suliti headed last Friday to Marran to meet Houthi field leader Abdu Al-Malik who is still positioned with a group of his followers somewhere near Al-Naq'ah areas.

The same sources spoke of telephone calls between Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifah Al Thani and Abdu Al-Malik Al-Houthi.

A source close to Houthis pointed out that they expressed resentment over resumption of Sana'a cell trials, accusing some parties of hindering the agreement implementation. They also hint that will not let down their detained fellows.

Houthis are represented in the committee through Saleh Hadhrah, Saleh Sharmah, Ali Nasser Farshah and Naji Bakhtan, while the Qatari side is represented by two people including Col. Nasser Al-Suliti.

Local sources expressed surprise over not including members from the local authority. Meanwhile, Sa'ada governor Mutahar Rashad Al-Misri left the province for an unknown reason.

Relative calmness dominates all Sa'ada district; however, some skirmishes take place from time to time. Further, some tribes introduce checkpoints as was the case with the tribal blocking of highway linking Sahar and Wailah and it resulted in killing a local from Sahar.

Sources told the Yemen Post that Houthis are still positioned in their sites and have not yet descended mountains or handed in their heavy and medium-sized weapons.

The sources also indicated that both sides have a real desire to end up the current crisis and to spread peace and security in all Sa'ada districts despite some breaches recorded here and there.

Media sources noted mentioned earlier that Qatari side threatened to withdraw particularly when some people work on creating problems including the events of Dhaiban Mosque and Sa'ada prison when seven Houthi prisoners were killed and several others injured.

In return, security sources denied killing and injury allegations and described the case as a chaos that was contained by prison administration.

Meanwhile, some sources have not ruled out the involvement of outside parties in the recent tension of Sa'ada especially when they [Houthis] pose a great risk to their security.
