Total Oil Company started to evacuate over 30 children of its employees' to France in precautionary measures against any potential attacks, especially after the recent attacks that targeted oil companies.

The company's spokeswoman pointed out this measure is no more than a precautionary measure and it aims to make children continue their study in France.

She added that the deported children are supposed to return to France with one of their parents, the one who does not work at Total; however, she did not point that this measure was made for security concerns.

Total is one of the biggest companies investing in Yemen in the field of oil and gas. It works in Hadramout's bloc 10 and it has 42 percent in Yemen's Liquefied Natural Gas – one of the giant projects in the Yemen energy sector.
