Concerned authorities at Sana'a International Airport managed to arrest a French employee working at an oil company as he was leaving the country carrying nearly 30 bronze statutes, metal and monumental coins.

The general manager of Monuments and Public Holdings Protection at the General Authority for Monuments Hisham Al-Thawr revealed that the French employee was coming on board a special airplane from the oil company's facility in Shabwa's Balhaf.

Al-Thawr added that the seized monuments were handed to the monuments prosecution. Meantime, French Total Oil Company announced a program for protecting the monuments located on the gas line, stretching from bloc 18 in Mareb's Safer to export facility at Balhaf.
