Several Yemeni governorates are still suffering the lack of diesel and people and vehicles were seen lining up in rows waiting for their turns to get fuel.

In Ibb, many drivers complained about the shortage of diesel and hinted they stopped working under the current crisis. Similarly, Hadramout citizens suffer the shortage of diesel as the province has been facing a critical diesel shortage for the last three weeks.

The matter is worse in Hadramout Valley where more citizens depend on diesel-fueled generators for pumping water to their farms and fields. Media sources revealed that most farmers of Hadramout travel to Mareb seeking diesel.

However, officials at the Oil Ministry denied any crisis and from time to time they announce the arrival of big quantities of diesel from abroad and maintain that they are seeking to secure more quantities to meet the increased demand.
