For the first time, the Sana'a-based Commercial Court ordered withholding $78,406 from French EPW Company over failing to settle the costs of gas pipes transferring from Aden Port to Safer in Mareb. The court ruling came following a judicial case raised by Al-Dhai'a Company for Oilfield Services that signed a contract with the French company to transfer gas pipes to the project sites from Aden port at total costs of $400,000. However, the French company failed to commit itself to the agreement and further declined to settle the costs at the due time and this incurred big losses on them, according to Al-Dhai'a release.
