Since last month, over 500 soldiers have been surrounded in Marran Mountains, Sa'ada by Houthi loyalists. The soldiers surrounded,  completed most of its food and water this week and face dying from hunger, while the government finally announced that it will send help with new leadership to break the siege and rescue its forces before they die.

The question I put now is why did the government wait for six weeks to send help to its surrounded troops, and not try to desperately help them in the beginning of the siege?

This is how our government treats all its problems unfortunately, and a major reason why the country continues its backwardness. Soldiers who risked their lives for the sake of the country are being ignored by country they risked their lives for.

This comes as the government continuously announces that it has accomplished strong progress in eliminating Houthi followers from Sa'ada and other neighboring governorates. So what I say to the government is to not announce its accomplishment, while in the same time hundreds of loyal troops and soldiers and threatened to die from hunger only because the government decided to help them late instead of at the time of need.

As they say, a wise person learns from others mistakes, while the opposite wants to make those same mistakes again to learn from them, therefore repeating the same mistakes over and over again.
