MTN Mobile Company concluded on Monday, June 30, its '21 Day MTN Care' campaign. The campaign, implemented in 21 countries, is the second of its type and it seeks to develop the social development. Attending the conclusion ceremony, Deputy Minister of Social Affairs for Development Sector Lutf Al-Alaya, Deputy Mayor Abdul Malik Al-Radhi, and head of Challenge Society for Female Handicaps Jamalah Al-Baidhani praised the efforts of MTN Yemen which help support charitable and social projects within the frame of private sector participation in developing societies. They considered MTN to be an exemplary as for positive partnership in providing social and human services to bring about a sustainable development, calling on private sector to participate in charitable and social activities. For his part, MTN Yemen Executive Director Ra'ed Ahmed hinted that his company strategy is built on developing the countries in which it works through providing them with the up-to-date telecommunication technology as well as the active participation in social and charitable activities that reinforce states' efforts to support development programs. Implemented by over 800 employees, the campaign included inaugurating several societal projects and activities in the field of health, environment, education and social care. |
