Open Day Session for Solidarity with Gaza People

“Citizens and officials in Yemen always experience the deep history of the nation’s problems,” said Lebanese International University (LIU) Academic Director, Sana’a Branch Ali-Al-Ashwal in an open day session held last Thursday in the university yard in Sana’a in solidarity with Gaza people.

Al-Ashwal added that Gaza people drew world support through their resistance, braveness and presence in the scene since the first day of confronting the Israeli assaults on the Strip. “Life is a stance of honor; people have the choice to live an honorable life or die,” Al-Aswal said describing Gaza people courageous resistance.

From his part, the university managing director, Akram Abdul Rahman Al-Bast said that the open day came following the Yemeni people’s continuous solidarity for Gaza, which in turn deepens Arab nation’s nationalism.

Meanwhile, many activities were launched during the day, including stepping and burning the Israeli flag, opening charity bazaar for the benefit of Gaza people, and displaying cartoons of visual arts of the tragedy experienced by Gaza people during the resistance.
