Following transferring him to another prison, Sheikh Al-Moyyad sent a letter to President Ali Abdullah Saleh requesting him to interfere for his immediate release – especially when his health condition is deteriorating – along with his companion Mohammed Zaid who suffers psychologically.

In the letter published by some media outlets, Al-Moyyed also requested Saleh to direct concerned authorities to hasten signing prisoners exchange with America in order to facilitate their extradition to Yemen.

He pointed out his health condition is worsening particularly when he suffers many chronic diseases including diabetes, hypertension and bone problems, hinting he has been transferred to one of the worst prisons in America where the most dangerous criminals exist.

Meanwhile, Al-Moyyad noted his lawyer told him that signing a treaty for prisoners exchange with America could help their extradition to Yemen, especially when Yemen detains numerous prisoners enlisted on the CIA list.
