Anti-Corruption National Strategy by SNACC
The Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption (SNACC) declared that it is going to launch an Anti-Corruption National Strategy which includes the executive and working lines of the authority with all its partners. Moreover, SNACC told media sources that the authority would also launch the National Alliance for the Integrity, which be participated by all civil society organizations, and it is interested on creating a real partnership with all NGOs.
65 Piracy Acts During 2009
to informed sources in the ministry of transport for seaports affairs, 65 acts of the piracy were registered in Aden Gulf since beginning of 2009. The source added that the under construction center of combating piracy in Sana’a would receive assistance from the regional center of combating piracy in Singapore and the center would analyze information on incidents of piracy to send signs of alert.
More Somalis arrive in Yemeni coast
Interior Ministry reported that about 79 Somali refugees, including 34 women, arrived on Thursday at Thubab coast in Taiz governorate. Interior Ministry authorities along with Yemeni Red Crescent are working to gather them in order to send them to Kharaz camp in Lahj province.
