Armed men laid siege to at least 60 soldiers belonging to Central Security in Al-Maslob district, in Al-Jawf province.
The military leader of the in Al-Maslob district, Major Abdallah Hammod Al-Arefy said that about 500 tribesmen of Nawas tribe laid a siege to the camp six days ago.
Al-Arefy said that they are under siege, suffering difficulties without water or food, through the insisting of the tribesmen to free one of their clansmen, who was seized in the headquarters of Central Security in Sana'a, after killing a soldier in the same camp.
According to media outlets, Al-Arefy called on Yemeni authorities to intervene as quickly as they can to end the siege, before they all die.
