At least six more people have been killed and dozens hurt since clashes erupted between tribes in Yemen's central province of Dhamar.
Local sources told the Alsahwa website a land dispute was behind the war between the tribes of Bani Al-Ferasi and the tribes of Al-Amas, Da'adi'e and Bani Hassan in the district of Al-Hada.
The clashes started at the disputed land, with the tribes taking the clashes into their villages.
The fighters of both sides are using medium weapons killing the people and destroying the homes, the sources said.
In Ramadan three people were killed from the two sides, they added.
Tribal mediations have many times tried to contain the situation but all have failed, with the casualties being a roadblock to reconciliation.
The fresh killings happened among the two sides.
Meanwhile, social and political figures in the month-long war area have called on the conflicting tribes to put an end to their dispute and urged the authorities to assume their responsibility and tackle the lawbreaking.
The district witnessed a similar war in 1997 that came to an end years later, in 2000.
Dozens were reported dead and hurt in the clashes between the tribes of the Bani Al-Ferasi and Al-Amas, before a tribal mediation reconciled the two clans.
Land disputes are common in Yemen, the country where the arms in the civilian hands more than double the population.
