Security Authorities Arrest 27 wanted Persons South Yemen

Security services said that 27 wanted elements for the security authorities were arrested; those are accused of being involved in criminal and subversive acts against the security and stability of the society in the provinces of Abyan, Dhalea and Lahj, Security Media Center reported.

The Center revealed that 13 wanted outlaw persons were caught in Lahj province, believed to be involved in riots, chaos and destruction acts in Al-Hawtah, the capital city of Lahj. This affected the public and private properties, it added and aims at creating chaos and undermining the security and stability in the city.

In the same regard, security forces arrested other 8 wanted people accused of similar issues in Abyan governorate; including a person accused of intentional murder case in Rasad district.

However, security forces had arrest 6 outlawed elements in Dhalea governorate, it said that they were involved in acts of sabotage, criminal and shooting security officers; in addition to their participation in illegal demonstrations, which depict the Yemeni unity, said the source.

The source added that the security campaigns will continue to pursuit wanted elements in the governorates of Abyan, Dhalea and Lahj. Such campaigns aim at arresting the criminal and subversive elements, and to strength the security and stability in the three governorates.
