The U.S. Embassy in Yemen urged its citizens to be cautious and avoid gathering in the area where the last attacks on an embassy vehicle took place.
The embassy said in a statement on Friday that it is likely that a terrorist attack takes place at any moment anywhere in Yemen.
The statement came only two days after four U.S. embassy personnel in Sana’a were attacked at a restaurant often visited by foreign nationals.
An explosive device was planted in the back of a pickup vehicle of American embassy employees. The vehicle had light damages while none of the four were injured.
Yemeni authorities arrested a Jordanian, suspected of being behind the attack.
