The European Union revealed on Monday that the EU, the UN and the WB plan to contribute to rebuilding the war-ravaged areas in Saada province.
Meeting Interior Minister Mutahar Al-Masri, resident ambassador of the EU to Sana'a Michele Cervone said the contributions will be commenced after assessing needs of the affected regions this year.
Apart from the topic, German Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development Dirk Niebel, currently visiting Yemen, has said at a meeting with opposition leaders in Sana'a that dialogue has become very necessary amidst the current political deadlock in Yemen.
Governance can't be ensured but when there are a regime and an opposition, he said, amid signs that an EU-U.S. move to bridge the gap between the ruling party and the opposition is underway.
The German diplomat stressed dialogue and reconciliation among active Yemeni parties, as he said that the interest of the nation requires dialogue and mutual understanding.
Before the meeting, Niebel held talks with President Saleh and senior officials in Sana'a that focused on the Yemeni-German relations and the German support to Yemen as well as arrangements for the upcoming meeting of Friends of Yemen Group in Riyadh this year.
In addition, Niebel is discussing during his visit, a week-long visit, efforts in fighting terrorism and progress in the implementation of national reforms, stressing to respect and promote human rights and to work hard and together to establish a suitable climate for free economy, according to official statements.
