One protester was killed in Hodieda province in a night attack when central security forces attacked protesters in change square Hodieda, a medical staff in the province said.
"Protesters were chanting in front of a governmental complex when security forces shot directly at protesters to disperse them," an eyewitness said.
At least twelve others were injured by live bullets and more than thirty were beat by batons.
Earlier in the day, tens of thousands of anti Saleh protesters marched the streets of Hodieda, resulting in tens being injured by security attacks.
