The first road map to end the Yemen political crisis was announced and pro-democracy youth were not forgotten.
The opposition Justice and Building party called for the formation of a 345 member national council to lead the country for one year while youth were given 40 percent of seats in the council.
The road map calls for the involvement of all political factions equally and a presidential council of 11 people.
This however, will hurt the bigger parties in Yemen as the map insists that all political factions get equal representation in parliament during the transitional period to save the country for a civil war that is knocking the doors of Yemen.
“We need to involve all political factions in the upcoming government to ensure that no one is left out and that the revolution demands do not go in vain,” said Mohammed Abulahoum, the president of the Justice and Building party.
Abulahoum said that the road map calls for the creation of a youth committee to observe the next government and ensure that the strategies go along side with the youth demands.
