The Houthi group heavily shelled some populated villages of Hajja governorates on Tuesday, killing five children along with their mother.
Bloody clashes have been continuing between the Houthi group and tribesmen of Hajja who alleged that Houthis try to expand and take over some districts of their governorate.
Spokesman of the Hagoor tribes of Hajja, Zaid Arjash, said the Houthi attacks resulted in the displacing of thousands of people, accusing the Houthi group of targeting markets and populated villages.
He further indicated that the Houthi fighters shelled water wells and prosperities, stressing that human rights groups and media outlets did not take care to their suffers.
Arjash cited that the Houthis use heavy weapons against tribes, appealing to the government to assume its responsibilities toward the Houthi constant aggressions.
Both sides reached last Thursday an agreement for which both sides cease fire, open blocked roads, naturalize the situation and form a commission to oversee the agreement, however the agreement was violated hours later.
Locals of Hajja had complained that the Houthi fighters do not commit to previous agreements and mediations, pointing out that they always violate agreements and use them as tactics.
News reports allegedly stated that the Yemeni authorities seized a weapon-loaded Iranian ship while it was en route to the Houthi fighters nearby the Hodeidah port.
The Arabic-speaking Alwatan affirmed that the ship was carried with mortar launchers, anti-armor shells and other weapons.
Separately, the Yemeni Interior Ministry stated that the Houhi group had entirely destroyed a jail in Hajja province, pointing out that it used heavy artilleries.
For its part, the media office of the Houhi group denied the ministry's statement, pointing out that the ministry sided to the tribes.
