Yemen's President Abdrabu Mansour Hadi issued a decree on Sunday to form the Communication Committee which will be in charge of bringing all parties and forces to dialogue.
The official Saba agency reported the committee consists of: Abdul Karim al-Eryani, second deputy head of the GPC, Abdul Wahab al-Anesi, head of the Islah party, Yasin Noman, secretary of the socialist party and others including former ministers and activists.
Nadia Abdul Aziz al-Saqqaf, editor-in-chief of the Yemen Times newspaper, was among the members.
According to the presidential decree, which was issued according to a power-transfer deal brokered by the GCC and backed by the UN in November, the committee will select its head at its first meeting.
The deal called for holing a comprehensive national dialogue at the beginning of the second phase of the two-year transitional period.
The decree also said the Communication Committee has the right to seek support from those who can help make its job a success, urging all parties and forces to cooperate to accelerate the formation of the dialogue preparation committee before 30 June.
