 Yemen Post Staff

MTN has been ranked as one of the most valuable brands in the BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands 2012 survey. This is the only brand rankings that include consumer data when arriving at the brand value, which means that MTN’s customers have made their choice. As MTN is the first and only African brand to make this authoritative list, this is definitely a significant accomplishment that MTN can be exceptionally proud of. This week our subscriber numbers officially passed 173.1 million mobile subscribers across the 21 operations. The majority of MTN’s markets showed strong subscriber growth, this despite the continued high levels of competition.MTN’s subscriber base has increased by 5.2% for the four months from 31 December 2011 to 30 April 2012. A company’s brand and reputation is directly related to the quality of its products and services, the difference it makes in the communities in which it operates, and, most importantly, its people - the brand ambassadors that continue to create the defining moments and customer experiences that make brand great. MTN thanks each and every MTN Yemen Customers who are the reason behind this huge success.
