Four Yemeni officers including he deputy director of the central prison in Taiz, Saleh Al-Awlaki, were killed and four others were wounded on Monday in an armed ambush installed at Beer Basha of Taiz city, local sources said.
The sources pointed out that the attackers could escape and security forces are still pursuing them, singling out that a five-year child was also killed.
A security official who spoke on condition of anonymity said it was not known who the attackers were.
