Job applicants protested on Monday before the headquarter of Yemen Gas Company in Sana'a, accusing the company of corruption.They further alleged that they are being treated arbitrarily by the company, pointing out that they provided all their documents for employment and that the company adopts patronage and nepotism.They made it clear that the company has no an electronic databases or archives for the employees and job applicants, stressing that the company employs inefficient persons. The protesters further said the company is involved in big financial and administrative corruption, asking for dismissing the corrupt officials of the company and emphasizing that the company gives no facilities to investments.What is recently known as the institution revolution had hit many public authorities and resulted in the ouster of tens of corrupt officials in Yemen, as employees and students insisted on firing them.However, many Yemeni government employees still complain that their institutions are still fraught with corruption.Many employees organized protests in the capital Sana'a and other major cities during the few past months, demanding to sack their corrupt officials. Professors of Sana'a University have been on strike since last Saturday after their demands to replace corrupt officials or holding elections of the university's rector and deans were not met. Students of the university had organized several demonstrations in which they requested to "cleanse" the university from the corrupt officials and improve the quality of education
