A Briton was found killed in the port city of Aden on Sunday in unclear circumstances, security sources said.
The sources said the Britain national was found killed in his apartment after residents of a building notified a police station.
They further said that probes are ongoing to know the circumstances of the crime, pointing out that the British man operated as a lawyer to a consultation firm.
This murder case came days after finding two American couple from Yemeni origin killed in Aden.
The two persons, Ali Abdullah Saif Al-Aghabri and Maraim Mohammad Al-Zahri, worked as doctors in the field of cosmetic operations in Aden.
No group claimed its responsibility about the abduction so far, but some observers expected that Al-Qaeda might be behind the murder.
Many countries cautioned its citizens to not travel to Yemen after government troops engaged in deadly clashes with growing armed separatist groups and separately fighting the resurgent al-Qaida wing which escalated its attacks recently.
A number of foreigners including a Saudi diplomat and a Swiss nationals are still held by Ansar al-Shariah, an Al-Qaeda linked group, in Abyan.
Local sources of Abyan had said that Al-Qaeda managed to hire tribesmen to kidnap foreigners and transfer them to South Yemen.
They told the Emaraiti Al-Byan newspaper that al-Qaeda pays big amounts of money for tribesmen in return for their acts.
Insecurity and chaos acts have increased in Aden, the city which is considered among the most strategic Yemeni areas.
