The Arab coalition continued to target bases, positions and weapons controlled by the Houthi militants and dissident forces in Yemen the past two days.
On Saturday, fighter jets from the Saudi-led coalition struck weapon stores and Houthi positions in the capital city of Sanaa, Taiz, Hodeida and Aden.
In Sanaa, the Al-Hafa brigade was targeted in Noqom east of the capital a day after targeting the Al-Dailamy air base at Sanaa International Airport and the heavily armed Al-Sama'a brigade outside Sanaa.
The airstrikes coincided with continued battles between local resistance fighters and Houthi militants in several cities including Aden and Shabwa in the south.
The coalition launched the operation in response to an appeal by president Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi three weeks ago.
The operation aims to defend and restore the legitimacy of the transition government and stabilize the country following the Houthi takeover.
Its jets have destroyed most of the air bases and weapons including ballistic missiles controlled by Houthis.
In the meantime, ground troops from the coalition countries, five GCC states, Egypt, Jordan, Sudan and Morocco, are on standby and can intervene at anytime if needed.
The coalition receives logistical and intelligence support from the US and Turkey and Pakistan.
France, the UK and some other EU countries are backing the operation as well.
