Confrontations between pro-government forces and popular fighters and the Houthi militants and dissident forces continued in several Yemeni cities on Monday.
In Taiz, where violence has escalated in recent days, popular resistance fighters and Houthi militants fought guerrilla war on several streets.
There were casualties but medical sources could not give statistics.
Medical sources said local hospitals received wounded people only.
In Marib, the city which saw the largest numbers of casualties in the past few days, local tribes launched fierce battles against Houthi militants on several warfronts, local sources said.
In Aden and Shabwa, popular resistance fighters attacked Houthi reinforcement and supply convoys and are continuing a siege on militants in some areas.
A Saudi-led coalition is providing support to pro-government fighters against the militants and dissident forces.
Recently, fighter jets from the coalition airdropped weapons for the pro-government fighters in Aden and Taiz.
