Confrontations between pro-government popular fighters and the Houthi militants and dissident forces loyal to the militants continued in Yemeni cities on Thursday.
Scores of Houthis have been killed in the past few days in the battles mostly in the southern city of Taiz.
Today, Taiz governor Shawki Hayel ordered to provide hospitals with extra morgues as hospitals can't afford more dead bodies, a local medical source said.
"Morgues of all local hospitals are full of bodies of Houthi militants who have been killed during the battles with the popular resistance," the source said.
"We have now got orders to bury bodies so that hospitals continue to receive emergency cases especially civilians," the source added.
Many bodies are still on streets where violence is escalating, locals said.
The Saudi-led Arab coalition conducted airstrikes against positions and brigades controlled by the militants in Yemeni cities in support of the pro-government fighters.
The coalition intensified the raids in Taiz, Lahj, Aden, Ibb and Marib.
In Aden, local sources said the popular fighters clashed with Houthi militants in some parts of the city.
Around 300 people mostly civilians who joined the fight against the Houthi militants have been killed in since violence broke out in the city.
Lately, Houthi snipers targeted many civilians in Aden after the Arab coalition backed the popular fighters to force militants out of seized towns.
A Houthi sniper shot dead a child in the city today, local sources said.
On Wednesday, the UN revealed that recent violence has killed 1000 people and displaced 150.000 others in Yemen.
