A car bombing was detonated in downtown Yemen's capital city of Sanaa on Wednesday, a resident on Hayel Street said.
There were no reports about casualties as ambulances rushed to the explosion site.
The bombing occurred near the Al-Qubbah Al-Khadraa Mosque where deadly bombings were carried out early this year.
Meanwhile, agencies reported bombings targeted three mosques and buildings of the Houthi militants in Sanaa and that there were casualties.
The blasts were carried out on the eve of the fasting month of Ramadan.
