Vice President and Premier Khalid Bahah on Sunday arrived in the French capital Paris for the United Nations Climate Change Conference.
On the sidelines of the conference, Bahah will meet with the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon as well as officials from oil firms which have investments in Yemen, the official Saba news agency reported.
At his meetings with oil firms, Bahah will discuss possibility to reopen oil projects and launching new investments, it said.
All oil and gas projects in Yemen were shut down after the Saudi-led coalition launched a military operation against the Houthi militants in late March.
Days ago, an official revealed that the government would relocate the petroleum exploration and production authority into the temporary capital, the southern port city of Aden.
The move comes within the plan to start measures for reopening oil operations, the official said.
The armed conflict, which was sparked by the Houthi militants' seizure of power, has affected the national economy badly.
Official reports said all sectors have been affected by 90% after all imports and exports came to a halt because of the blockade on all sea, land and air ports of Yemen.
The blockade was part of the Arab military intervention and has been blamed for deepening the humanitarian suffering.
